Most hummus is a shortcut. This session is the opposite. You start with overnight-soaked chickpeas, blend your own tahini base, and eat what you make — warm, fresh, exactly how you want it.

The Real Technique

Understand why overnight-soaked chickpeas change everything — and why most restaurant hummus doesn't taste like this.

Tahini Base from Scratch

Before the hummus, you blend your own tahini. That base becomes the backbone of the whole dish.

Season Your Way

Garlic, lemon, cumin — you adjust it until it's yours. There's no single right answer, and that's the point.

Eat What You Made

Sit down with warm pita, olive oil, pickles, and the hummus you just made from scratch. Best meal of the week.
